A journal for all undergraduates

The University of Leeds Human Rights Journal is a multidisciplinary publication created by students with the aim of providing a platform for ambitious undergraduates to publish their academic and creative work on the theme of human rights. It was founded in 2012 and is the first journal of its kind in the UK.

Calling all creatives!

Want to see your work as cover art?

Every year we ask artistically-talented students at the University of Leeds to send in paintings, photographs, sketches and other art to be used as the cover for the journal. It is a great chance for budding artists to showcase their work on a printed, campus-wide journal. For more information see examples of work from previous volumes here.

Alternatively, feel free to get in touch with us via Facebook and Twitter or email at: hrj@leeds.ac.uk. For more information on guidelines and stylistic parameters please see the submissions guidelines.
